I travel quite a bit, to Las Vegas for both work and fun. This trip, on my list, was going to the 23rd floor Sky Lobby at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Las Vegas. Why? To experience the only Moët & Chandon Champagne vending machine, in the US. It did not disappoint. The view from the desk, where you purchase the gold coin was spectacular. I had a continuous smile on my face, as I received my coin, walked to the vending machine, put coin in machine, watched as my choice made its way to me, and finally able to open the bottle, like a kid opening a present at Christmas. Thanks Moët & Chandon for a fun experience!
Frosé at Giada Vegas
When in Las Vegas, one of my favorite places to dine is Giada's, in The Cromwell. And this trip was no different. Stopped in for lunch, and the Frosé on the signature cocktails menu caught my eye. When the drink arrived at the table, the presentation was beautiful, and set the tone with what was to follow - the taste! It was well blended, not too sweet, and the perfect drink for a hot summer Las Vegas day.
National Ice Cream Day
An Eno's Sundae Sack....it's the way to celebrate the day. Vanilla ice cream, fruit, chocolate, whipped cream, and cherries on top. All you need is some friends/ family to help you devour it.

Shivers Natural Snow
During my recent trip to Longview, I discovered Shivers. I do believe the word is out, because there was a consistent line of about 30 people. After tasting my first spoonful, I was hooked! Light as air shaved ice, and the syrup is made with real fruit. Although there might be a line....it's worth the wait!
National Wine Day
Cheers!
